Riding the Waves…

“Write a book,” they said.

“It will be fun,” they said.

I did it! I wrote a book!

A real one. For sale on Amazon.

For everyone who said I should…

But, mostly for myself.

And so it begins…

“People have always told me I should write a book. I mostly observe things and write descriptions of what I’m observing. I like to take pictures mostly of nature. I post on Facebook. Sometimes I write stories about experiences. Funny stories. But, how could this be a book? One that people actually wanted to read?”

I guess we will find out!!!

Announcing my first book, Riding the Waves: Navigating Life in the Wake of Loss. It’s a journal/photo journal/memoir.

“It’s my journey. I’m inviting you along. I hope you’re glad you came.”

Available now on Amazon:

Also, I have created a FB page for the book that I invite you to follow:

From the back cover:

Following the unexpected loss of her husband of nearly 33 years, the author shares “the stories she tells herself ” about her thoughts and experiences during her first 18 months as a widow. She describes her personal journey as “riding the waves” of emotion. Along the way, she shares insights and wisdom within short stories and anecdotes that will make you laugh and make you cry. Mostly this memoir shared as a journal and photo journal will make you think from a new perspective and create compassion in your heart for yourself and others.
